Hi Everyone

Another great week was had over the Easter holidays as we took the Starmakers ‘Back to the 80’s‘.

The kids were fantastic all week learning songs from my youth (Fame, Footloose & Dont Stop Believing) and did brilliantly with all the dance routines that Sam set them.

They just seem to get better and better everytime we run a holiday club which is wonderful to see.

We are, as always, very proud of what they achieved and they should be as well. A great week with great people.

Here’s to the next ones in the Summer Holidays. Just need to get my thinking cap on now as to which songs we are going to do….any suggestions very welcome!

Hi Everyone

Just wanted to say a big well done and Congratulations to everyone who attended the Half Term Holiday Club.

You were amazing all week and Sam, Becky, Jess and I had a great time.

You should all be very proud of what you achieved over the week.

I hope that we will see you either at a weekly class or another holiday club soon.

Hi Everyone

I am delighted to say that we have a number of Starmakers who will be appearing in the forthcoming production of ‘Oliver’ which is to be presented by the Ripon Amateur Operatic Society at the Harrogate Theatre in April 2010. In Fagin’s gang there will be: Charlotte Atkinson, Ailsa Mummery & Caitlin Mummery. Playing the part of Noah will be Dan Lancaster and playing the part of Charlotte will be Lucy Atkinson. Everyone attends the Thursday class.

We are very proud that they have been successful in getting into the show and look forward to seeing them when it comes to the Harrogate Theatre.

Hi Everyone

To all those who attended the summer schools this year firstly can I apologise that it has taken longer than expected to get the CDs and DVDs out to you. We had some major issues with the editing software and it took three different programmes to get things sorted. However, we have finally got there and everyone who ordered a CD and/or DVD will receive these within the week.

As a result of this we have decided that all our future videoing of the end of week show will be done by a professional company. This will result in an increase in the price of the DVD but it will cut out any problems that may arise.

Again, sorry for the delay but we hope you’ll understand.

We look forward to seeing you at our next Holiday Clubs which are being held in the February half term week 15th – 19th February 2010 and also the 2nd week of the Easter holidays from 12th – 16th April 2010. We have also got 2 further weeks planned for the summer.
